Die Art der chemischen Behandlung h\u00e4ngt vom Typ des verwendeten Metallblechs ab.\n\nNach dem Trocknen wird der Blechstreifen in einem speziellen Raum grundiert, in der Regel auf beiden Seiten. \u00dcber eine Transportwalze wird die Lackfl\u00fcssigkeit von der Pfanne zur Auftragswalze bef\u00f6rdert. Von dort wird die Fl\u00fcssigkeit in die Pfanne gepumpt, von wo aus sie beim \u00dcberlaufen zur\u00fcck in den Vorratsbeh\u00e4lter flie\u00dft. Hier wird sie neu gemischt und gefiltert.\n\nDas lackierte Blech wird nun in einem Ofen bei hohen Temperatures 15 bis 30 Sekunden lang ausgeh\u00e4rtet. Wieder aus dem Ofen genommen wird der Blechstreifen an der Luft und mit Wasser gek\u00fchlt. Bei den meisten Spezifikationen sind zwei Lackschichten (Grundierung und Decklack) auf jeder Seite des Blechs notwendig. Dazu muss ein zweiter Durchgang mit Lackierungsraum und Ofen erfolgen.
