Molawan Abrasion Resist is a Cost-Effective, Polyester Polyamide Pre-Painted Galvanized Steel Developed for Applications Under Frequent Abrasion.

Molawan Abrasion Resist is a cost effective, polyester Polyamide pre-painted galvanized steel developed for applications under frequent abrasion. The paint is a Polyester Polyamide system, applied on a Galvanized substrate of Minimum 90 gsm zinc coating, with paint film thickness of 20 microns on weathering side and 10 microns of the same system on the bottom side.

Galvanized steel with zinc coating G30 (90gsm) Minimum.
Grade: CS Type A & B, FS Type A&B, SS33, SS40 & SS50

Typical Uses

Garage doors, Rolling Shutter and other applications subjected to frequent abrasion.

Pretreatment Corrosion resistance proprietary conversion coating each side
Primer Coat Universal Corrosion inhibitive Primer
Nominal thickness- 5 microns each side
Finish Coat Custom formulated Polyester and Polyamide paint system.(PEPA)
Nominal thickness-15 microns on the top or weather side.
The finish coat is available on all RAL standard colours and other colours may be available on request.
Backing Coat Custom formulated Polyester and Polyamide paint system.(PEPA).
Nominal thickness of 5 microns.
Back coat is in the same top coat colour and DFT as required
Gloss (60˚) Nominal 30 – 35%
Other gloss levels may be available on request
