Mogalvin Trichrome is a Galvanized steel from UNICOIL, treated with Trivalent Chrome (Cr³) passivation, which is an alternate surface treatment to the Hexavalent chrome passivation. Trivalent Chrome passivation is an eco- friendly and offers good corrosion resistance. By applying Trivalent chrome passivation, Mogalvin – Trichrome becomes ROHS compliant as UNICOIL uses zinc with less than 90ppm lead which is maximum allowed limit as per ASTM/653. The other elements, Mercury, Cadmium, PBB and PBDE are not present in the Galvanized steel.
