King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology organized an event in November 2014 that brought together outstanding environmental technology professionals from around the world for the Second Saudi International Conference for Environmental Technology, 2014. The experts and participants reviewed the latest developments in environmental technology across several different fields, such as environmental treatment, environmental monitoring and assessment, environmental modeling, and climate change and solutions, in addition to discussing the many strategic issues of environmental technology that are of particular interest to the kingdom.
The Conference is an international forum for scientists and practitioners as well as those interested in environmental issues. It was held in the Conference Building at the KACST main headquarters on King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Road in Riyadh, during November 10–12, 2014 (17th to 19th Muharram, 1436H).
UNICOIL President Eng. Rayed Abdullah Al-Ajaji was one of the speakers at this event, and presented a paper entitled “Manufacturing, Social, and Environmental Responsibility in the Steel-Coating Industry.”
